The new season of “MonsterQuest” airs on Wednesday night, May 28, 2008, with their lead-off program, “Mega Hog.” (Check your local listings.) Here is the program overview: “Do wild hogs in the United States grow to monstrous sizes? Many think so. In Georgia an 1100 pound hog was shot and killed, and in Texas beasts almost as large have been reported. But are these creatures raised and fattened up in a pen, or are they wild hogs, naturally more aggressive, that have somehow reached gigantic proportions? A MonsterQuest examination meets victims of vicious wild boar attacks, looks at the existing [...]

New Evidence of Yeren
At Don Keating’s Ohio Bigfoot Conference last weekend, the M. K. Davis presentations on the Patterson-Gimlin footage and the furor caused in the wake of the “Patty was shot” theory were not all that happened there. One presenter’s recent activities were overshadowed by the Davis “massacre theory.” That specifically was the news shared by Jeff Meldrum, Ph. D., who is a tenured Associate Professor of Anatomy and Anthropology and Adjunct Associate Professor of the Department of Anthropology at Idaho State University. Jeff Meldrum is shown second from the left, last weekend in Ohio, along with other speakers at the Bigfoot [...]
Top 10 New Species of Old and Recent Discoveries
The above is a new species with the common name of the “shocking pink dragon millipede” and the scientific Latin name of Desmoxytes purpurosea. It was first found on 28 August 2006, and first described in Zootaxa 1563: 31–36, 2007. It’s May. The end of May 2008. But apparently there is one more “top ten list” for 2007 that needs to be published. The International Institute for Species Exploration (IISE) has announced their list of the top ten new species described in 2007, which includes at least a couple extinct animals, as well. The media appears to be confusing this [...]

Capt. “Completely Human” Bigfoot Revisited
Will big news come out of Ohio in the next 24 hours? Today, Saturday, May 17, 2008, in Ohio, M. K. Davis gives one of his first public lectures in years. Perhaps someone will ask about his November 26, 2006, press release: Patterson Bigfoot film subject has been identified as a human. News Archive > 2006 > Nov > 26 Famous piece of film footage that is considered to be the number one evidence for the existance of Bigfoot, has had its subject identified to be a human being. Not Lizard Man
DNA testing has shown an attack on a family van some blamed on the legendary Lizard Man appears to have been actually done by a domestic dog. Something chewed up the front fender of Bob and Dixie Rawson’s van in February 2008. Bite marks were left on the wheel wells and blood was found on the vehicle. The Item of Sumter reported that a veterinary lab in California tested the blood and found it came from a dog. But Bob Rawson isn’t sure, saying it would have to be one big dog. Lee County Sheriff E.J. Melvin isn’t convinced either. [...]
Race Card in Bigfootry = “likely Caucasoid skin”?
M. K. Davis began releasing information publicly on November 26, 27, 30, and on December 3, 2006, to promote a film project he reportedly was doing with Pat Holdbrook. Concurrently, Davis and a filmmaker began discussing and promoting to the public another film project. I found that the Patterson subject was carrying…a stick. ~ M. K. Davis, December 3, 2006. The following details the 2006 release of Davis’s information leaks of what he and his associates mutually said they were seeing in the Patterson-Gimlin footage. Such material included postings on sticks, the unfortunate “digger Indian” episode, responses and apologies. This [...]
As Elusive As Bigfoot
Photo by Jim Weber/The Commercial Appeal Allan Mueller of The Nature Conservancy trolls through Bayou DeView in east Arkansas, where there were several ivory-billed woodpeckers sighted in 2004. The continuing search has been fruitless — and expensive — with development projects delayed. “We’ve got to get a picture,” he says. The Commercial Appeal of Memphis has an update on the search for the ivory-billed woodpecker. One thing is for sure, skepticism is on the increase because the hunt is costing millions of dollars. Elusive woodpecker hatches controversy Millions have been spent on the hunt, but there’s still no definitive proof [...]
