Glad to see so many readers of Cryptomundo at Saturday, July 5th’s talk at Fort Knox. The late arrival crowds were so big that cars were backed up for a couple miles to get into the place.
For Sunday, July 6th, when it is predicted people tend to get there earlier and on time, I’ve been asked to stay over to present at noon. Thus, I will give another hour long talk, with a Q&A session, outdoors with lots of replicas, artifacts, props and exhibits from the Interational Cryptozoology Museum.
[No more news on the Island Falls black panther report, but Waldo County, Maine, where I am, continues to have black panther sightings that are taken for granted. Also, I got new leads on a strange story of a cryptic large lizard being seen for decades by several generations of a family in a restricted portion of some swamp lands of central Michigan, and an intriguing sighting of a long black-eyed "worm" in rural Connecticut. I have not quite heard anything like this "worm" story before, as far as I can recall.]
From 9 am to a little after the noon to 1 PM talk, on Sunday, I will be available to folks who wish to ask more questions about cryptozoology and Bigfoot at my display table, sign books if you bring yours from home for autographs, and sell the few remaining books I have left. On Saturday, I met people from California, Michigan, Virginia, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Texas, Maine, and Germany who stopped by to talk about cryptids. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow if you are in the mid-Coast Maine area.
(P.S. The UFO lecture there yesterday by Cindy and Chris actually turned into a discussion about Mothman, and they will revisit that theme again today.)
The official description from the old historic fort’s website is here, Paranormal & Psychic Faire, Fort Knox, Maine

The Schedule has not been revised, but I will be the talk at noon.

“Save the International Cryptozoology Museum” update….
Total donations received via PayPal on July 4th and 5th: $0.00.
Total donations received at the talk at Ft. Knox: $21.50.
Thank you to those who generously gave cash in the collection box at my table for donations to the “Save the Museum” effort. I want to especially send thanks out to the boy who took two quarters out of his pocket to leave in the box to help the museum, and the one family that sent a thoughtful donation in via PayPal, then stopped by Ft. Knox to donate some more. Appreciation.
Where are the corporate donors? Hoping the big women and men step up to the plate to keep this worthwhile educational site going and evolving into all it can be.
Of course, in the absence of big donors, 115 of you have come through with average donations of $39 each, and two benefactors at $1050 and $1000 too, to give true hope on the road to seeing this effort succeed. Thank you.
IMPORTANT: Easy-to-use donation buttons are now available here.
Thanks to everyone, sincerely for continuing to give or trying to later this week!
