I’d say RIP, but I have a feeling he’s out there looking. So I’ll just say, don’t stop. Follow the evidence.

Thank you Loren for this fitting memorial to our mutual friend and colleague. Your piece has caught the essence of who Scott Norman was: a fantastic human being and loyal friend.
When I was in Cameroon in November, 2012, Scott was always on my mind and I cannot tell you how saddened I was that Scott would never again join us in pursuit of the Mokele-mbembe.
As Bill Gibbons has said, we will continue the search for Mokele-mbembe as a tribute to our fallen brother. He would have been so excited that we were in the ultimate Mokele zone and would have shot hundreds of hours of video and just as many photos of the area that he has come to love so much. he would also have given away so much of his equipment to the locals to make their lives better in some way.
I will never forget Scott Norman and as the anniversary approaches I will keep his family and memory close in my thoughts.
