When you get down to it, February 14th has a rather bleak history.
Do you recall that Valentine’s Day has an underlying vampiric theme? A “holiday” about various martyrs named Saint Valentine?

Blood and death, in the midst of warped love stories, I know, from first hand experience, is a real part of the background of this date. My maternal grandmother, Nellie Gray (pictured below), was the victim of a murder-suicide on Valentine’s Day, 1940.

A couple of years ago, for Valentine’s Day, we were in search of a specific kind of Chupacabras beer, which does have a creepy vampire notion to it, of course.
J. Pritchett, who was aware of the Cucapa brewery in Mexico, found us an empty bottle, and it now sits in the International Cryptozoology Museum’s locked display of such spirits.
So, we are looking for suggestions for what our next Valentine-Crypto artifact to discover should be. Any ideas?
Thank you.
Happy Valentine’s Day.
