There are 10,000 registered users at Cryptomundo. There are thousands more of you whom visit here daily to read Cryptomundo. This blog, voted the most popular site of its kind and picked for notice often, is averaging two million page reads a month. The global interest in cryptozoology is very high, and as we all know, in times of economic stress, topics that involve adventure, the unknown, and animals – to wit, cryptozoology – remain high.
Think of the power of your numbers! If every one of the registered – all 10,000 – gave $2.50 to the museum fund, even after the PayPal fee, there would be enough money to save and move the world’s only cryptozoology museum into more daily availability. Donations via PayPal to lcoleman@maine.rr.com (those are “L”s not “ones”) or, your donations via snail mail to International Cryptozoology Museum, attn: Loren Coleman, PO Box 360, Portland, ME 04112 USA, could do it, because of those numbers alone. No excuses about not having enough money to donate; everyone has an extra $2.50 for cryptozoology!

My thanks to Peter Loh and so many others – indeed, all of you, all 10,000 and more – for what you’ve done so far.
This includes a reader in Iowa who wrote in a side note very, very early this morning, when she sent in a $25.00 donation, “In lieu of a quick flight to the comedy event of the year, I’m sending you my ticket price via paypal.” The joke, of course, is the ticket price, but the thought and the funds are sincere and most appreciated.
I look forward to hearing from you via messages and PayPal notes to lcoleman@maine.rr.com
Thank you. Keep on track!
