Cryptozoology will be the partial or entire focus of The Paul O’Grady Show on Monday, March 2, 2009. LIVE!
The London program is on Olga TV, and will be broadcast from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, local time. While the show is well-known in the UK, it is virtually unknown in North America.
I’ll be their invited guest, and the topics will be cryptozoology (in general), the Dover Demon, Bigfoot, and Scotland’s Loch Ness Monster. ABCs (the UK’s Alien Big Cats) probably will creep into the discussions too. I might even talk about the Hobbs name game. I may be on for only five minutes, believe it or not.
The show is famed for its wild and crazy times, and, yes, I know what to expect (i.e. unpredictable surprises and comedy). Sometimes you have to be brave when you attempt to popularize, educate, and go mainstream regarding the study of unknown animals.
I plan to enjoy my brief trip to the UK, as I’ll be staying right next door to the London Aquarium and the London Eye, across from the House of Commons.
Postings for the time I’m gone are in place, as I am uncertain about my ability to blog from the wilds of London. Two guest blogs by Brent Swancer have kindly been contributed, and will be appearing while I am gone.
