In Portland, Maine, the International Cryptozoology Museum will be open normal hours this weekend ($5.00 per person), Sunday, December 13, Noon to 5 pm, and closed Monday. Tuesday through Thursday (December 15-18), normal hours also, 11 am to 6 pm.
Need a “re-gifting” idea? Have your previously read, currently owned Loren Coleman book personally autographed for a friend, lover, or coworker. Then wrap it up and give it away. Come in and have me sign your books for you for free, of course, anything this week or next during normal or extended hours.
Also, fresh new copies are just in of Mysterious America, The Field Guide to Bigfoot, The Field Guide to Lake Monsters and Sea Serpents, Tom Slick, Bigfoot! The True Story of Apes in America, Creatures of the Outer Edge, and other classics. All can be personally signed.
Also, the Green Hand bookshop upfront has a growing selection of cryptozoology, Fortean, and anomalist books, including some authored or coauthored by me, which may also be autographed. You will be surprised by the rare classics, first editions, and new books with reasonable prices to be discovered. Check out those shelves too.
Please be conscious of some time changes for the museum hours during the holidays: Saturday, December 19, 2009, the museum will be open from 9:30 am to 7 pm, and Sunday, December 20, 2009, from Noon to 5 pm, to accompany last minute shoppers who wish to pick up that final cryptozoological treasure! See the Christmas and New Year’s hours below.
Also, for January and February, the museum will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, although groups may see if I am available to give tours at the museum or talks at your school on those days by calling and leaving a message at 207-518-9496.

Come buy your Bigfoot and Yeti ornaments, and other new goodies in the museum shop. Gift certificates for $5 “Museum Passes” are also available for that person that has everything (well, except for ICM passes). The perfect little gifts that say a good deal about your cryptozoological loyalties!
Ornaments are selling out fast. Email me at LColeman@maine.rr.com if you would like to send in a donation for an ornament, with which ornament and your mailing address. I will send priority mail to reach you next week.
The “Coleman Prehistoric Sasquatch Toy” has arrived, and I have four left for sale to assist the museum.
The following Holiday Specials are still available for a few days. These can be purchased in person at the museum, via email or snail mail. For individuals who want “gift certificates” to place in stockings and to give as gifts to friends and family, here they are. Gift certificates are now available via email or through snail mail to allow the bearer (whomever holds the certificate of admission) into the museum. These will have NO expiration dates, and thus can serve as a “future promise” of a trip to Portland, Maine, when you give them as a gift. Springtime in Maine is great, and summers are excellent!
Click on the “Holiday Flyer” above to increase in size and then click again to make even more readable.
The donation button below (and only below, your money will not reach the museum if you use the Cryptomundo button above) may be used as a clickable direct link to PayPal (even if you are not a PayPal member) to send funds for your gift certificates and museum holiday purchases, as well as welcome contributions to the museum. Followup with an email to LColeman@maine.rr.com for order specifics, if you do not see a comment box.
Thank you!
