Lake Elsinore Monster Bobs Up Again

Lake Elsinore Monster Yarn Bobs Up Again Elsinore – C. B. Greenstreet, rancher, today came to the aid of Southern California publicists, who have been chagrined during recent months for lack of a lake, sea or river monster. Greenstreet revived the Lake Elsinore monster, reported to have been seen from time to time since Indians roamed the country. He said: I know you think I’m crazy; but I saw it. We all saw it — my wife and two children, and my little girl was terrified and afraid to return to our home at the head of the lake. It [...]

Przewalski Horses and Almas

Cilka (above) was a beauty. The world’s oldest known Przewalski horse died on August 12, 2006. The mare named Cilka was 34, and she died peacefully at the Prague zoo. Her ancestors lived in the grasslands of central Asia. Indeed, this animal’s legacy was as a member of a group that survived from the Ice Ages, and her hairy appearance showed her links to the Pleistocene. As wire service news of her death mentioned: Only about two dozen of the world’s estimated 2,000 Przewalski horses are over age 30….The Przewalski horse, or Takh, a national symbol in Mongolia, is the [...]

Malaysian Bigfoot Search Continues

In the wake of the dramatic developments that the “johor hominid” photos are a hoax, many have forgotten that the foundation of the Malaysian Bigfoot reports remain intact. Here’s a report from Raymond Goh of the API, a sometimes rival, sometimes cooperative entity of the SPI and Vincent Chow. For the sake of balance, I thought it important to publish these thoughts, with Raymond’s permission, to get some insights into the API’s point of view. – Loren ———————————————————————— The sudden turn of events of the Johor hominid case has angered and disappointed many. Touted by a reputed Malaysia Nature Society [...]

Latest From Pine Ridge

On Tuesday, August 8, 2006, at 10:55 p.m., a local law enforcement evidence technician reports to dispatch that something is hitting the walls of his trailer. He wants an officer to investigate. He is not able to do it himself as he has his family in the trailer with him. The officer arrives at the trailer and finds nothing unusual. This incident happens about a fourth of a mile east of Sharps Corner, which is about 30 to 40 miles northeast of Pine Ridge, South Dakota.

Johor Hominid Photos: Hoax!

Well, optimism springs eternal. As those who have read about the drawings, the photographs, and more, you have realized my early efforts to learn more were frustrated, but we all pushed on. From wishing Vincent Chow well, going to write the foreword to his projected book, to growing skepticism, it has been quite a journey. Hoping against hope, members of the hominology community wanted the purported but unseen photographs of the Johor Hominid to be a valid form of evidence. There appears now to have been an obvious reason for why those promoting the hidden pictures did not wish to [...]

Johor Photo Release

Sean Ang, apparently on behalf of Vincent Chow, has decided to release a small portion of the eyes of an alleged Johor Hominid from one of the alleged photographs (see below). It’s not much. But it’s something. Of course, it only raises more questions. If they can show us this much, why not a total and complete release of this evidence? What is this really a photograph of? Where was it taken? When? What does it show? From this tidbit, is it a photograph of any great ape in a zoo, a movie costume, or an unknown hominoid? What’s with [...]
