Fangoria’s Michael Gingold has noted that Sci Fi Channel will have a premiere on Saturday, November 8, 2008, at 9:00 PM Eastern, of a new Yeti movie.

Genius Products gave Fangoria the first look at cover art for Yeti, the 12th (!) entry in its Maneater DVD series, being released on January 13, 2009. The film’s plot concerns a plane carrying a college football team that crashes in the Himalayas. While trying to figure out how to make it to safety, the survivors must also contend with, as Gingold notes “an especially Abominable Snowman determined to have them for lunch.”
