The forecast for July 5th is for sunny skies, so I have been asked to stay over and speak again on Sunday at the gathering near Searsport/Stockton Springs, Maine.
I’m up the mid-Coast of Maine, for my appearance today at the Ft. Knox Historic Site at 1:00 p.m. now on July 5th too.
Unlike most lectures that I give using PowerPoint, I can’t do that at this rustic site. I shall be completely employing props and handheld examples of my talking points. The questions and answers time can be engaging and give forth with new stories from a fired up crowd!
Cryptozoological objects, cryptid replicas, popular cultural artifacts, books for selling and signing, plus Yeti, Orang Pendek and Bigfoot footcasts: I’ll have them all there.
Come say hi and introduce yourself, as I will have a table with books, casts, the Toscano Bigfoot and more there all day.
Everyone have a great week.
I will be giving further details of other upcoming talks and appearances for Santa Monica, California, in August; Waldoboro & Belfast, Maine over Labor Day weekend; Watertown, Massachusetts in September; Tyler, Texas in September; Fort Wayne, Indiana in October; and then for 2010, in Scotland and perhaps Oklahoma. See you soon.
BTW, a brief note on something that began on the 4th in France…
The 96th Tour de France, the world’s most famous cycling competition, is again going to be supported by Škoda Auto, for the sixth consecutive year. With 20 teams on the start line, this legendary race started Saturday, 4 July, in Monaco and, as usual, is going to end on the Champs-Élysées in Paris.
This year Škoda Auto is going to stage a French market premiere of the Yeti, its latest model – altogether ten Yetis are going to be part of the TdF advertising convoy, an integral part of each stage of the event.
So watch for news of Yetis along the Tour de France!
