I am always interested in what the various news services do with Cryptomundo’s stories and how those get “re-mixed,” so to speak, for different audiences. Here’s an example, thanks to the alternative press feeder system, the Wireless Flash News (WFN). It is about a dispatch that was sent this morning to 800 rock and news radio stations, alternative papers, and media other outlets worldwide.
Here is the recipe: Take one part The Top Ten Bigfoot Stories of 2006 you saw here first, add in a dash of year-end timing, have it kneaded by the media (in this case the WFN), and, wham, this is what the media chef produces (with the garnish I added, images for your visual digestion):
2006: A Big Year For Bigfoot

PORTLAND, Maine (WFN)) — Looks like 2006 was a big year for Bigfoot.
Cryptozoologist Loren Coleman says it was one of the biggest years in memory for Bigfoot buffs, thanks to some very credible sightings.
For instance, there were numerous footprints found in Malaysia suggesting the presence of a Sasquatch in South Asia.
Also, a former U.S. Navy SEAL revealed that, back in 1997 during a stop at the Democratic Union of the Congo, he videotaped a group of “Kalanoro,” which are chimpanzee-like” animals with quills just like porcupines.
Meanwhile, there were numerous sightings of the hairy creature on the Ogala (sic) [that should be Oglala] Sioux Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota, including one by a policeman who used the department’s thermal imaging camera on Bigfoot.
Finally, Coleman says this past September, Bigfoot buffs in Australia reportedly photographed a Bigfoot-like critter called the “Yowie” crossing a road.
