Cryptozoologist to speak at UMA

AUGUSTA — Researcher and author Loren Coleman, who has authored 30 works on Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster and other animal mysteries, will speak to an audience at the University of Maine at Augusta on Saturday.
The author will discuss his findings at an event sponsored by the college’s Honors Program.
Coleman is known internationally for his work in the field of Cryptozoology, the study of atypical creatures. He has appeared on the Discovery, Travel, History and Sci-Fi channels.
The event takes place Saturday, December 13, 2008, at 5 p.m. in room 138 of UMA’s Richard J. Randall Student Center. It is free and open to the public.
