Here is some footage from the upcoming sneak preview of the Halloween screening of “Lost Tapes” on Animal Planet. You can certainly see that the underlying theme in this show may be a violent one. Or is it one of confused realities and trickery?

The program is putting out this public relations blurb:

Rare and exclusive footage of a park ranger uncovering a vicious attack scene in the woods. The attacked man had chased (what he had thought was) “Bigfoot” through the woods just days earlier, capturing the animal on film for the first time ever.

Is “Lost Tapes” going to be another example of what you see is not really what you see?

The original allusion to me was that it was nonfiction, but I think someone slightly misinformed me. The trailer makes it look more like Blair Witch Horror meets Sasquatch Mountain. Is Animal Planet trying to give the SciFi Channel a run for its money?
