Dear CryptoZooNews Reader!
As the International Cryptozoology Museum enters its 11th year, we actively continue our mission to save the vanishing record of exploration and discovery in the search for new species. Admission fees keep us going, month to month, but it is the generous support of you that makes our future more worry-free.
Why do we do it? It is a tragedy but the collections of earlier cryptozoologists and cryptozoology advocates have not been properly preserved. One of the objectives of the ICM is to save all such cryptozoology materials from the literal and figurative dumpsters of the world, and share them professionally with the general public, students and researchers, worldwide.
Today, the hard work, passion, and community spirit of the ICM members, volunteers, collaborators, and staff are helping the Museum fulfill this goals and objectives. Scores of member-volunteers from around the country and globe give tirelessly of their own time, ability, and ideas to strengthen the Museum and bring its legacy into the larger welcoming community. Please join the team. Board members have contributed during the holiday season, as well as some old friends. Your help is needed too. Today.
Before the end of the year, I am reaching out to you to ask you to consider donating to assist the International Cryptozoology Museum. Rarely do you have the opportunity to so directly support the preserving and archiving of a disappearing history of such a unique science.
By picking any amount from the menu found by clicking this link, you can contribute in whatever way you wish.
Nothing would be more satisfying to the Museum’s founders than knowing that, despite all that has changed in the past 10 years, the organization’s members and visitors are still committed to helping each other—and the surrounding community—“improve the moment.” They understood that encouraging the exchange of ideas through science, intelligent discourse, and educational expression is a crucial service to all who visit and ask for our insights, and we are delighted to see that so many people share this vision today.
It is a long way from Childcraft to cryptocraft, but we are dedicated to make an impact. Help us!
On behalf of the students, citizens, and members that the Museum serves every day, we ask that you please give as generously as you can in support of this exceptional, one-of-a-kind non-profit institution. With your help, we can continue to flourish as a center of scientific and educational sharing where visitors and members are empowered to engage the broader scientific and popular cultural community in the ways that they have always dreamed.
With sincere thanks and best wishes for the holiday season,
Loren Coleman, Director/Founder
Jeff Meuse, Assistant Director
