Tallman Mountain State Park is a New York State Park located in the Town of Orangetown in Rockland County, New York, adjacent to the Hudson River. It includes part of Piermont Marsh.
Four to six sightings around Palisades and Tallman State Park were reported in March and April. Additional sightings in Pearl River and at a golf course in Rockland Lake State Park trickled in afterward.
Reports during the week of July 19-24, 2009, talk of new hunts being conducted for the big melanistic felids.
