New CZ T-Shirt Grade: F

Sometimes cryptozoology tee-shirt can be beautiful. Frequently, they can convey a great message about the quest.

But once in a blue moon, they just are awful.

Case in point is this new example from Snorgtees!

I didn’t have to look at it long to see several things I didn’t like.

First, the art is hardly creative. The concept of a fight is old and tired.

Was this clothing maker afraid someone was going to sue them? Is that why they misspelled the commonly accepted correct renderings of three cryptids? Come on! Snorgtees, you weren’t even paying attention, were you?

Snorgtees has “Big Foot” for “Bigfoot,” “Lock Ness Monster” for the “Loch Ness Monster,” and “Chupacabra” for “Chupacabras” (which is the singular and plural form). Actually, on the shirt, it is “Lock Ness,” as if the misspelled lake is fighting with their “Big Foot.”

Here, from their site, is the

Description:
In addition to this fight, Big Foot and The Lock Ness Monster have an annual most blurry photo contest.

The choice is yours. You can have your friends, who see you from a distance, asking you what a “FOOT NESS” is, or for the ones closer, asking you if you know it’s “Loch” instead of “Lock.” Remember, you have options in tee-shirts, and this is not on my “Cryptozoo” recommendation list. (Of course, the shirt maker is probably overjoyed to see this negative review here today, because any mention is still, well, a mention. And, guess what, some people might like this monstrosity. But the only way it is ending up in the Museum is if Snorgtees sends me a free one.)

Do something else with your money, Cryptomundians, like buying groceries for your home today. Or surf the net or this site for a tee-shirt that actually knows how to spell the names of the cryptids and has something attractive to display.

:-) Thank You.
