Just a reminder: I will be signing your personal books, answering questions, and selling books at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado, on Sunday, November 9th through Tuesday, November 11th, 2008.
The famed Pikes Peak Bigfoot Crossing sign.
I shall be finding a way to get outside on Sunday or Monday, hopefully, to view the likely habitat for the nearby Rockies Sasquatch, as well as tracking down some elk and bighorn sheep. I understand local wildlife guides are already shutting down for the season, unbelievably.
(“MonsterQuest” was just in Colorado, filming a forthcoming episode on Bigfoot. I probably will be in that program, as an interview with me about the state’s sightings is already in the can.)
My illustrated talk at the hotel is entitled, “Colorado Bigfoot and Cryptozoology” and will be on November 11, between 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm. I hope to meet people during the following dinner break for more in-depth discussions of all our favorite topics.
See you there!
I am curious, are any people reading this in Colorado? Besides a NHL mascot, is there really a Colorado Howler? Where does myth, legend, and reality split in the tale of the Howler from the Rockies versus the hoax of the Howler of the Ozarks?
