Frank Wu, as he told everyone that was within hearing, is a “Four-Time Hugo Award Winner-Best Fan Artist & 13th Best Science Fiction Artist in the World!” He’s a colorful guy, needless to say.

Frank and his Lake Wu insights visited the International Cryptozoology Museum in Portland, Maine, on Friday, July 2, 2010. He took lots of photos and his wife took some of him. He laid on the floor near the giant Congolese spider, for example, and pretended he was being attacked. The poor folks in the next tour, from Ohio, who walked in on the scene, didn’t quite know what to make of it. But they recovered.

It was just another day at the museum for the rest of us.

The ICM will be closed Sunday July 4th through Tuesday July 6th, but will return to regular hours on Wednesday.
