I have personally received this brief statement from John A. Keel’s youngest sister, Cheryl, on July 11, 2009, which I am sharing to answer questions many of you have had about any plans to celebrate his life:

I have made arrangements for the remains and I will not be holding a memoriam for John in New York City. The family will probably have a private memoriam at a later time. I suggest that you fellas go ahead and have any type of memoriam that you would like to have to remember your friend. Thank you for all your assistance and kind thoughts at this very difficult time.
