I saw the iceman on display around 1976 at the Castleton Square Mall in Indianapolis. I had read about it in Argosy several years prior and knew that the one I was seeing could be the alleged replica. I had a good chance to examine it closely and it looked exactly like the photos published in Argosy and on the cover of the new book.
